South
Milford
South Milford is about eight miles east of LaGrange and seven miles south
of U.S. 20.
S.R. 3 runs through the active business area, which is the center of the
community and the first home of the widespread J.O. Mory business.
Because it is surrounded by lakes, South Milford is relatively busy during
the summer.
Firefighting services are provided by the South Milford Volunteer Fire
Department.
The community also has a Lions Club.
The property tax rate for South Milford residents is $2.2660 per $100
of assessed valuation.
